Sink or Swim

Neve had her first "parent & baby" swimming class today at the Aquatic Center. We were curious to see how she would react because last summer she wasn't all that thrilled when we took her into the water at the cottage. To our surprise, she was very excited when she saw the pool and was happy to get in. She did get cold at the end so we did wrap it up 5 minutes before the class actually ended.

I must admit she looked absolutley adorable in her swimsuit! However, the most priceless moment of the whole class was Jeremy's face when the group started singing and going around in a circle, I must have laughed for 5 minutes!!

Frankly, I find this one a little creepy...LOL!

Miss Independant!

Neve has been changing so much over the last few months, she is quickly developing her own personality and becoming a "little person". Each week she surprises us with how much she grasps and how she can communicate without words. She has begun finger painting, dancing, feeding herself and to our dismay throwing herself onto the ground when she isn't quite happy with her parents wishes...LOL.

Scottie passed away on Monday

My boy Scottie passed away on Monday. I watched him being born 14 years ago. He lived with me until I moved uptown, at which point I decided he would be happier "on the farm" with Mom and Dad, who gladly took him in. He was a great companion with a wonderful personality.

You will be missed by all of us Scottie!
